Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignatios Garpozis in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Terzis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Marlιsion BC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Lambis Pantelatos hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes, Khαrkia FC's Spyros Maropoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitris Terzis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Khαrkia FC reached it. Giorgos Bitsikeas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Fondas Kostarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimitris Terzis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Kostarakis in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Fondas Kostarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fondas Kostarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Terzis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the match was over Khαrkia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marlιsion BC throughout the match.
