After 17 played minutes Idhomιni got a freekick which was hit by Christoforos Bekos. Nontas Chiotis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Odysseas Palaviaris showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Odysseas Palaviaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nontas Chiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Idhomιni's Evripidis Poniridis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Kyriazis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Idhomιni's Evripidis Poniridis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Kyriazis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kostas Karagiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nontas Chiotis having to interfere. With a little luck, ofi iliokastrou's Nikos Kyriazis got control of the ball when Evripidis Poniridis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Evripidis Poniridis made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Kyriazis. ofi iliokastrou's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Nikos Kyriazis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Poniridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, ofi iliokastrou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Aggelakas to maneuver through the defense. Panos Alamanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kyriazis having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match, Panos Alamanos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nikos Kyriazis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Nikos Kyriazis managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Idhomιni's Panos Alamanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lefteris Sotirakis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Odysseas Palaviaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nontas Chiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Aggelakas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Idhomιni's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Alamanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikos Kyriazis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ofi iliokastrou fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Idhomιni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
