Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grigoris Pantelis got the match started through his kick off. Babbis Kanatopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Panagoulias in the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Panagoulias in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Babbis Kanatopoulos saved Elataria from getting behind. Dimitris Lavdas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Babbis Kanatopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Christoforos Karvouniaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paschalis Xenopoulos. Elataria were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Vodka Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adamantios Tsakiris took the corner. Adamantios Tsakiris made a great header on Elataria's corner, it was just that Vodka Juniors's Christoforos Karvouniaris managed to reach the ball for a save. Kostas Panagoulias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Kanatopoulos having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Elataria's Grigoris Pantelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoforos Karvouniaris. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. Babbis Kanatopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Panagoulias, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kostas Panagoulias might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babbis Kanatopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kostas Panagoulias ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Kostas Panagoulias notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Elataria's Babbis Kanatopoulos. Babbis Kanatopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kostas Panagoulias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Kanatopoulos having to interfere. After the first half Vodka Juniors were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Babbis Kanatopoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Christoforos Karvouniaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paschalis Xenopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoforos Karvouniaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Pantelis in the 64th minute of play. Paschalis Xenopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Karvouniaris having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Grigoris Pantelis notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Vodka Juniors's Christoforos Karvouniaris. Christoforos Karvouniaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Babbis Kanatopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Panagoulias's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Dimitris Lavdas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Elataria got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Zaranis. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vodka Juniors's goalkeeper Christoforos Karvouniaris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoforos Karvouniaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Pantelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Christoforos Karvouniaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charilaos Zotalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
