Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charalambos Stathiadis got the match started through his kick off. Veniamin Konstantaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zisis Tourkogiorgis in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Covid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chiotis came free, but Veniamin Konstantaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Red Elikon Dragons got a corner. Covid FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konstantinos Georgakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Charalambos Stathiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kostas Giotoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charalambos Stathiadis in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Elikon Dragons's zone, Iakovos Thomakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Giotoulis came out of the goal and Iakovos Thomakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Covid FC's Charalambos Stathiadis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kostas Giotoulis. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Elikon Dragons's zone, Pavlos Thomakoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Giotoulis came out of the goal and Pavlos Thomakoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takis Georgakis took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veniamin Konstantaras. Veniamin Konstantaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 32 played minutes Covid FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Thomakoglou. 34 minutes into the match, Covid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chiotis came free, but Veniamin Konstantaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veniamin Konstantaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zisis Tourkogiorgis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charalambos Stathiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Giotoulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Covid FC's Charalambos Stathiadis in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kostas Giotoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Pavlos Lygos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimos Chiotis made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Red Elikon Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Stathiadis came free, but Kostas Giotoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Covid FC's Iakovos Thomakis in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 57 minutes, Pavlos Lygos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covid FC and the Red Elikon Dragons players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavlos Lygos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red Elikon Dragons defense, Pavlos Thomakoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Giotoulis. The Red Elikon Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Giotoulis should have stopped the shot. Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Thomakoglou in the 70th minute of play. Charalambos Stathiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Giotoulis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takis Georgakis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Takis Georgakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Red Elikon Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Zisis Tourkogiorgis. Iakovos Thomakis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Giotoulis. Kostas Giotoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Charalambos Stathiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes, Covid FC's Charalambos Stathiadis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kostas Giotoulis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Covid FC reached it. Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Lygos in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Elikon Dragons's Minas Theodorakelis got a free kick in the 90th minute.
