Amanda Lineker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Tsopakis's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, Michalis Tsirikolias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th minute, Errikos Pioukas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Akhσmavron's Simos Tsivilikas got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Akhσmavron's goalkeeper Alekos Skarpathiotis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Michalis Tsirikolias came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Tsirikolias couldn't finish the play. Lefteris Staboulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thodoris Nousiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.
Lefteris Staboulis's late challenge caught a Akhσmavron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lefteris Staboulis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Michalis Tsirikolias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Akhσmavron getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Markos Karpazidis hit a great ball. Errikos Pioukas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Michalis Tsirikolias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markos Karpazidis during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kong Guang De took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alekos Skarpathiotis. Akhσmavron's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Errikos Pioukas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Skarpathiotis having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C.'s Michalis Tsirikolias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alekos Skarpathiotis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michalis Tsirikolias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alekos Skarpathiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C.'s Michalis Tsirikolias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alekos Skarpathiotis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Akhσmavron's zone, Michalis Tsirikolias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alekos Skarpathiotis came out of the goal and Michalis Tsirikolias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Tsirikolias to maneuver through the defense. The Akhσmavron fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ΠΑΤΡΑ F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
