Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stratos Topalidis kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iason Tsirilidis in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordanis Prinianakis saved AEK SFC from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, AEK SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Poursaitidis to maneuver through the defense. Babbis Kopanarass short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Iordanis Prinianakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Iason Tsirilidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AEK SFC's Adamantios Kakouros got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Panerythraikos AO's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Topalidis came free, but Zacharias Simos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AEK SFC booed when Panerythraikos AO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Mathiopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Topalidis in the 30th minute of play forced Panerythraikos AO's goalkeeper Zacharias Simos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotiris Mathiopoulos's late challenge caught a AEK SFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotiris Mathiopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. When Stratos Topalidis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the AEK SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stratos Topalidis couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustratios Soufridis in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordanis Prinianakis saved AEK SFC from getting behind. Iordanis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Babbis Kopanaras sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 48 in the game by Babbis Kopanaras from a close distance when the talented Iordanis Prinianakis managed to make a qualified save. AEK SFC's players were relieved. Panerythraikos AO's Babbis Kopanaras managed to work through AEK SFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Babbis Kopanaras dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

In the 54th minute Iason Tsirilidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Iason Tsirilidis sped through AEK SFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordanis Prinianakis. Iordanis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iason Tsirilidis in the 68th minute of play. When Sotiris Mathiopoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. After having played for 74 minutes, Stratos Topalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AEK SFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Topalidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Babbis Kopanaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panerythraikos AO's supporters rose to their feet, but Babbis Kopanaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordanis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AEK SFC's Iordanis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustratios Soufridis in the 79th minute of play. Isidoros Katsiaros might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacharias Simos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoros Katsiaros ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoros Katsiaros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Babbis Kopanaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Iason Tsirilidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iordanis Prinianakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 89 played minutes Panerythraikos AO got a freekick which was hit by Nontas Koumanidis. Babbis Kopanaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Prinianakis having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dimitris Karamanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
