Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Apostolikas Aggelou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimos Micheloudakis in the 52nd minute of the match. Charlton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iordanis Petropoulos 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimos Micheloudakis in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apostolikas Aggelou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to LIVERPOOL.FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Loukianos Saliarelis hit a great ball. When Dimitris Tsokaridis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Charlton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Tsokaridis couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Dimos Micheloudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolikas Aggelou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded LIVERPOOL.FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Charlton.
