In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind KazaklarFC's goalkeeper Manolis Chatziioannou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Nikos Vrakozonis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KazaklarFC and the Loco Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes KazaklarFC got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Vrakozonis. 47 minutes into the match, KazaklarFC's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Kalkavouras came free, but Manolis Chatziioannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Thalis Mavridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loco Lions's Leonidas Pelidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Vaggelis Maladenis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KazaklarFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Maladenis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Loco Lions's Minas Kalkavouras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manolis Chatziioannou. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. Leonidas Pelidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Loco Lions booed when KazaklarFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Vrakozonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iraklis Polimenakos got free with Manolis Chatziioannou in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Lions's Iraklis Polimenakos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
