When Grigoris Kafropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Patrikαta BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoris Kafropoulos couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Patrikαta BC booed when Oxford University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Tournas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savas Karagiannakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kleanthis Perivolakiss short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Valentinos Kyriakakoglou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Oxford University fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Patrikαta BC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
