In the 19th minute, Agymnastoi's Eugenios Karagiozoglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vassilis Atmatzidis. With a little luck, Iliσfoton's Vassilis Atmatzidis got control of the ball when Isidoros Psaridis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Agymnastoi's Evripidis Moisidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vassilis Atmatzidis. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. Vassilis Atmatzidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Moisidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Isidoros Psaridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agymnastoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoros Psaridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Atmatzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evripidis Moisidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Iliσfoton defense, Evripidis Moisidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Atmatzidis. The Iliσfoton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Atmatzidis should have stopped the shot. Vassilis Atmatzidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenios Karagiozoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Evripidis Moisidis made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Atmatzidis. Iliσfoton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Vassilis Atmatzidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christodoulos Togias went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Vassilis Atmatzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Psaridis in the 71st minute of the match. Kleon Vahanelidis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Evripidis Moisidis came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Agymnastoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evripidis Moisidis couldn't finish the play. Iliσfoton's Vassilis Atmatzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenios Karagiozoglou in the 83rd minute of play. Evripidis Moisidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Atmatzidis having to interfere.
