Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stelios Karabatsos made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Olympiakos FC's Stelios Karabatsos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Koboropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olympiakos FC's Stamatis Rozaklis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Meletakis in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Iraklis Meletakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stamatis Rozaklis. Iraklis Meletakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Olympiakos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Alexandris came free, but Stamatis Rozaklis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salamanlí's Kostas Lianopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Rozaklis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraklis Meletakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Salamanlí's Giannis Sfakianos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stamatis Rozaklis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giannis Sfakianos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stamatis Rozaklis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iraklis Meletakis in the 27th minute of the match. Stamatis Rozaklis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraklis Meletakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Stamatis Rozaklis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kostas Lianopoulos went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Giannis Sfakianos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dimitris Kalketenidis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Stamatis Rozaklis made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Kostas Lianopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Nikolas Stagos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Manolis Koboropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Karabatsos in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Kostas Lianopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salamanlí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.

Iraklis Meletakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Rozaklis having to interfere. Panos Alexandris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Kostas Lianopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manolis Koboropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stelios Karabatsos in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Salamanlí's Makis Loumidis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Makis Loumidis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salamanlí protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Makis Loumidis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st match minute, Salamanlí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Loumidis to maneuver through the defense. Stelios Karabatsos struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Manolis Koboropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympiakos FC. Manolis Koboropoulos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Giannis Kalaitzidis sent off a good shot on target. Stamatis Rozaklis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Lianopoulos in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Kostas Lianopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Olympiakos FC booed when Salamanlí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerios Dousis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Olympiakos FC's Stelios Karabatsos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manolis Koboropoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympiakos FC reached it. After having played for 72 minutes, Stelios Karabatsos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiakos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelios Karabatsos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympiakos FC's Stelios Karabatsos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manolis Koboropoulos. That made the score 4-2 after 76 minutes of play. Stamatis Rozaklis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Neopidis in the 81st minute of the match. If Kostas Lianopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Olympiakos FC booed when Salamanlí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerios Dousis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Nikiforos Neopidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salamanlí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikiforos Neopidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kostas Lianopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panos Alexandris took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stamatis Rozaklis. Stamatis Rozaklis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. A collision led to Salamanlí getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Valerios Dousis hit a great ball. Stelios Karabatsos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Manolis Koboropoulos made a huge save. Salamanlí's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
