Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thrasivoulos Parlapipas got the match started through his kick off. Aiyínion BC's Nikos Pantelas got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Giannis Sobolos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Aiyínion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Sobolos couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Pipis Stoubos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paschalis Katakouzinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Parlapipas in the 22nd minute of the match. Tasos Zachariadis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tasos Zachariadis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the match, Spyros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Sobolos came free, but Paris Toskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nikos Pantelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes in the game, Chatziioannou Bonovas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paschalis Katakouzinos having to interfere. Sotiris Matalas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Spyros FC got a corner. Aiyínion BC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panos Papageorgatos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Spyros FC's Panos Papageorgatos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paschalis Katakouzinos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paraskevas Matzavidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 58th minute Giannis Sobolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Toskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Spyros FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Pipis Stoubos hit a great ball. Sotiris Matalas was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Paris Toskas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Pantelas in the 64th minute. Chatziioannou Bonovas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paschalis Katakouzinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thrasivoulos Parlapipas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Pantelas in the 80th minute of play forced Spyros FC's goalkeeper Paris Toskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikos Pantelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Toskas having to interfere. Nikos Pantelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paris Toskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Pantelas ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikos Pantelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
