In the 12th minute, Stratos Mavrakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Savas Michaloliakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sotiris Borbokis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Vrasidas Kastigios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Mavrakoglou in the 20th minute of the match. Diogenis Karagoutis charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogenis Karagoutis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AN.ARTAS booed when Aλtorrαchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Karagoutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, AN.ARTAS's Pantelis Tsekouras tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Michalis Metaxas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Christou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alekos Koutsokefalakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Metaxas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aλtorrαchi's zone, Dimitris Christou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Metaxas came out of the goal and Dimitris Christou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alekos Koutsokefalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AN.ARTAS's Alekos Koutsokefalakis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Savas Michaloliakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vrasidas Kastigios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Alekos Koutsokefalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Metaxas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alekos Koutsokefalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AN.ARTAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alekos Koutsokefalakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Metaxas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Christou made a kick off. Alekos Koutsokefalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Christou struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Michalis Metaxas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AN.ARTAS. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alekos Koutsokefalakis got free with Michalis Metaxas in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikos Lazanas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Diogenis Karagoutis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Aλtorrαchi's Michalis Metaxas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Christou in the 84th minute of play. If Savas Michaloliakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Savas Michaloliakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aλtorrαchi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savas Michaloliakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilias Koutsikos's late challenge caught a Aλtorrαchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilias Koutsikos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AN.ARTAS's Ilias Koutsikos got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pavlos Tsarouchis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The AN.ARTAS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aλtorrαchi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
