Spyros FC's Thrasivoulos Parlapipas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Kostas Niarchos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORiGiNaLs and the Spyros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Spyros FC booed when ORiGiNaLs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Niarchos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Nikos Kostarakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilias Papoutsas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paris Toskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilias Papoutsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Thrasivoulos Parlapipas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spyros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thrasivoulos Parlapipas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thrasivoulos Parlapipas might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Kostarakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thrasivoulos Parlapipas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thrasivoulos Parlapipas in the 44th minute of play forced ORiGiNaLs's goalkeeper Nikos Kostarakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Spyros FC defense, Ilias Papoutsas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paris Toskas. The Spyros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paris Toskas should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thrasivoulos Parlapipas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nasos Rogas fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spyros FC's protests and gave Nasos Rogas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, one of Spyros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spyros FC. Prokopis Karagiannidis scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paris Toskas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Spyros FC's zone, Sakis Pachopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paris Toskas came out of the goal and Sakis Pachopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Spyros FC's Thrasivoulos Parlapipas in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Pipis Stoubos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spyros FC's protests and gave Pipis Stoubos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute of the match Prokopis Karagiannidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paris Toskas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of ORiGiNaLs booed when Spyros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Stoubos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakis Pachopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, Spyros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Zachariadis to maneuver through the defense.
