Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Spyros FC's Thrasivoulos Parlapipas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thomas Kakavos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chatziioannou Bonovas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adamantios Kabourakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thrasivoulos Parlapipas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Miltiadis Chatziantoniou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potαmi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miltiadis Chatziantoniou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Potαmi's Thomas Kakavos got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Spyros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Kakavos came free, but Paris Toskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tasos Zachariadis charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tasos Zachariadis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Potαmi booed when Spyros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Zachariadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikos Chronidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paris Toskas. Spyros FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Thomas Kakavos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potαmi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Miltiadis Chatziantoniou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paris Toskas having to make a save. Adamantios Kabourakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Parlapipas in the 40th minute of the match. If Miltiadis Chatziantoniou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltiadis Chatziantoniou was the one to do the kick off. When Pipis Stoubos fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spyros FC's protests and gave Pipis Stoubos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Potαmi booed when Spyros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Stoubos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tasos Zachariadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adamantios Kabourakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Thrasivoulos Parlapipas sped through Potαmi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adamantios Kabourakos. After having played for 66 minutes, Miltiadis Chatziantoniou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potαmi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miltiadis Chatziantoniou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Potαmi's Miltiadis Chatziantoniou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paris Toskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Kakavos in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paris Toskas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thomas Kakavos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aggelos Droumalias charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aggelos Droumalias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Potαmi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Droumalias to maneuver through the defense. Panos Papageorgatos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes Spyros FC got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Rogas. A hard shot by Nikos Chronidis from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Paris Toskas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Spyros FC's Paris Toskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltiadis Chatziantoniou in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Kakavos got free with Paris Toskas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Thomas Kakavos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paris Toskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Potαmi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
