In the 17th minute Evaggelos Rigopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kostarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simos Chronoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simos Chronoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Telis Koufopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ilias Papoutsas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORiGiNaLs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilias Papoutsas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tasos Michalitsios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Kostarakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simos Chronoulis went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 77 minutes of play, PAOK FC's Evaggelos Rigopoulos made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Kostarakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evaggelos Rigopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
