When Isidoros Vrinios fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KALLITHEA's protests and gave Isidoros Vrinios a yellow card for diving instead. KALLITHEA's Menios Patakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Balafas in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charis Kanatakis to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ROZ FOUSTITSES's Nikos Symeonidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Menios Patakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Menios Patakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nikos Symeonidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Menios Patakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Skaboulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KALLITHEA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROZ FOUSTITSES the free kick. A collision led to KALLITHEA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 86th minute, when ROZ FOUSTITSES's Pipis Kapotas after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Menios Patakos in KALLITHEA's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 87th match minute, KALLITHEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoros Vrinios to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Symeonidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Patakos having to interfere. Alexis Petriniotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Vrinios, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
