The referee ignored Wiz SP's protests and gave Kostas Georgakis a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Liaskovitis during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Olympiakos fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Liaskovitis to maneuver through the defense. Pantelis Papachronis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Chatziantoniou Bourbos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Demis Patsatzoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marinos Psikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 38 minutes into the game, Pantelis Papachronis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Chatziantoniou Bourbos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Iosif Liaskovitis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Olympiakos fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Liaskovitis couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demis Patsatzoglou made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Marinos Psikos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wiz SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marinos Psikos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilias Zinantidis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Marinos Psikos took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chatziantoniou Bourbos. Chatziantoniou Bourbos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Psikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Iosif Liaskovitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiakos fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Liaskovitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Olympiakos fc booed when Wiz SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Manaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pantelis Papachronis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziantoniou Bourbos having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wiz SP had won after a very even match.
