Polítsiani FC's Dimitris Valassidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Sfakianakis in the 3rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polítsiani FC:s goal. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 9th minute, where Polítsiani FC:s Akis Leptokaridis tricked ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ:s Koulis Kioutsoukalis with a difficult ball by the left post. Dimitris Valassidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Meletoglou in the 13th minute of play. Kyriakos Sfakianakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dimitris Valassidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Valassidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Lazanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Giorgos Traboukidis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Kyriakos Sfakianakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dimitris Valassidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alekos Meletoglou in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Valassidis saved Polítsiani FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Giorgos Traboukidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaggelis Chiloudakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Koulis Kioutsoukalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyriakos Sfakianakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Valassidis having to interfere. With a little luck, ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Koulis Kioutsoukalis got control of the ball when Daniil Botsaris tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaggelis Chiloudakis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Chiloudakis in the 52nd minute of play forced ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's goalkeeper Koulis Kioutsoukalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alekos Meletoglou came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alekos Meletoglou couldn't finish the play. If Vaggelis Chiloudakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Daniil Botsaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polítsiani FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniil Botsaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniil Botsaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koulis Kioutsoukalis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Sfakianakis in the 68th minute of play forced Polítsiani FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Valassidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Chiloudakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Koulis Kioutsoukalis was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Chiloudakis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Koulis Kioutsoukalis.
