The Berbαti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanis Konstantinou should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achilleas Pirovolidis in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fanis Konstantinou saved Berbαti from getting behind. Fanis Konstantinou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thymios Partalidis made a kick off. Fanis Konstantinou was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dionysis Nikas. 62 minutes into the match, Berbαti's goalkeeper Fanis Konstantinou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achilleas Pirovolidis. Christoforos Dimitroulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Pilavas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
