An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Manousopoulos in the 7th minute of play forced STRIKERS FC's goalkeeper Vaios Minou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, STRIKERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Xenopanagos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Evripidis Tsanaklidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasios Psiloglou was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Panagiotis Simertzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vlachopoúla's zone, Evripidis Tsanaklidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Psiloglou came out of the goal and Evripidis Tsanaklidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evripidis Tsanaklidis to make the kick off. When Petros Vafopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the STRIKERS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Vafopoulos couldn't finish the play. Vassilis Voulgaridis charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Voulgaridis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evripidis Tsanaklidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75thth minute of the game Petros Manousopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STRIKERS FC's Vaios Minou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Petros Barberopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaios Minou. STRIKERS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Barberopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Evripidis Tsanaklidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Psiloglou having to interfere. Anastasios Psiloglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evripidis Tsanaklidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evripidis Tsanaklidis struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Anastasios Psiloglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STRIKERS FC. Petros Vafopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anastasios Psiloglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vlachopoúla support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
