The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alekos Tsartas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Aris Papakostas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stergios Neophytou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lakis Pappagiorgas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASTELAN. Zacharias Michalolias hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lousιsto BC booed when CASTELAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Loukidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Aris Papakostas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CASTELAN's Stergios Neophytou didn't even have to move. CASTELAN's Stergios Neophytou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Adamatos in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Fondas Adamatos made a precise shot to the right of Stergios Neophytou. CASTELAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Miltiadis Bitsikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stergios Neophytou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Adamatos in the 45th minute of the match. The CASTELAN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lousιsto BC were winning 0-1.

Miltiadis Bitsikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentinos Kalogerakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Stergios Neophytou made a huge save. If Fondas Adamatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lakis Pappagiorgas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ntinos Symeonas's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Lousιsto BC's Fondas Adamatos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stergios Neophytou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miltiadis Bitsikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Pappagiorgas having to interfere. Miltiadis Bitsikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CASTELAN were furious when Zacharias Michalolias was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Lousιsto BC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Adamatos in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stergios Neophytou saved CASTELAN from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Adamatos in the 94th minute of play forced CASTELAN's goalkeeper Stergios Neophytou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argyris Ladas hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Aris Papakostas's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Stergios Neophytou - 0-4 was put on the score board in the 100th minute.
