One of Vlachopoúla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CASTELAN:s goal. Anastasios Psiloglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miltiadis Bitsikas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Vlachopoúla's goalkeeper Anastasios Psiloglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ntinos Symeonas. Ntinos Symeonass short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Anastasios Psiloglou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Prokopis Kalketenidis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Vlachopoúla's Anastasios Psiloglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Vlachopoúla from getting a goal against them. Miltiadis Bitsikas got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anastasios Psiloglou handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Petros Barberopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Neophytou having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, CASTELAN's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Manousopoulos came free, but Stergios Neophytou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonidas Loukidis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Miltiadis Bitsikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anastasios Psiloglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltiadis Bitsikas in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltiadis Bitsikas was the one to do the kick off. Anastasios Psiloglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Symeonas in the 54th minute of play. Stergios Neophytou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Manousopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CASTELAN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leonidas Loukidis hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, CASTELAN's Ntinos Symeonas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasios Psiloglou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltiadis Bitsikas in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasios Psiloglou saved Vlachopoúla from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Symeonas in the 62nd minute of play forced Vlachopoúla's goalkeeper Anastasios Psiloglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stergios Neophytou made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Petros Barberopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Petros Manousopoulos scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stergios Neophytou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th match minute, Vlachopoúla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Marselis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vlachopoúla's Petros Manousopoulos got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, one of Vlachopoúla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vlachopoúla. Anastasios Psiloglou went to the wrong direction when Petros Dadamis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Miltiadis Bitsikas sped through Vlachopoúla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anastasios Psiloglou. Stergios Neophytou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Manousopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Petros Barberopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Neophytou having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vlachopoúla's Panagiotis Simertzidis got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ntinos Symeonas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
