The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dimitris Tassoulis made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Nikos Tosodoulis sent off a good shot on target. Menios Kamaroulias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Leontiou having to interfere. If Nikos Tosodoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's goal looked a bit too open when Valentinos Theodorou came free, but Dimitris Tassoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Dimitris Tassoulis, was totally fooled by Skoúnda FC's Miltos Saveris, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Nikos Tosodoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Alkaios Kousourakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Menios Kamaroulias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marinos Veniamin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Menios Kamaroulias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikos Tosodoulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Tassoulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Tosodoulis got free with Dimitris Tassoulis in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Dimitris Tassoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentinos Theodorou in the 53rd minute of play. Valentinos Theodorou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dimitris Tassoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Errikos Eleftheropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nikos Tosodoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Tassoulis having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Valentinos Theodorou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikos Tosodoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentinos Theodorou in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Tassoulis saved ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's goal looked a bit too open when Valentinos Theodorou came free, but Dimitris Tassoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menios Kamaroulias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Leontiou having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Skoúnda FC's Nikos Tosodoulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Tassoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dimitris Tassoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Tosodoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menios Kamaroulias got free with Michalis Leontiou in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skoúnda FC.
