FC Saint Neilos Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skoúnda FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Valentinos Theodorou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skoúnda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentinos Theodorou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giannis Tachtsidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Tosodoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Themis Vyntras took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giannis Tachtsidis. FC Saint Neilos Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to FC Saint Neilos Utd getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sakis Kolas hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Skoúnda FC's Nikos Tosodoulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentinos Theodorou to make the kick off. Menios Tzikas's late challenge caught a Skoúnda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menios Tzikas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Saint Neilos Utd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Menios Tzikas hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, FC Saint Neilos Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Kolas to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Valentinos Theodorou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Miltos Koroneos made a precise shot to the right of Michalis Leontiou. Skoúnda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Valentinos Theodorou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Savas Tzanetakos's late challenge caught a Skoúnda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Savas Tzanetakos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Savas Tzanetakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match, Nikos Tosodoulis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giannis Tachtsidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valentinos Theodorou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Giannis Tachtsidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skoúnda FC's Michalis Leontiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Koroneos in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Skoúnda FC defense, Pavlos Kazantzatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michalis Leontiou. The Skoúnda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michalis Leontiou should have stopped the shot.
