The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Menelaos Papaloukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanasis Katsoulis in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nikos Kamelidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Autokratoras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Kamelidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menelaos Papaloukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konstantinos Kokolakis charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantinos Kokolakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Konstantinos Kokolakis hit a great ball. Real Madrid's Menelaos Papaloukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kamelidis in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Autokratoras F.C.'s Kleon Lagizos got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Kleon Lagizos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Autokratoras F.C. and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 26 minutes, Nikos Kamelidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autokratoras F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Kamelidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Autokratoras F.C.'s Nikos Kamelidis got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Gerasimos Kefalaris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Autokratoras F.C. and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Autokratoras F.C.'s Gerasimos Kefalaris got a free kick in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fivos Giantzis during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Fivos Giantzis. 36 minutes into the match, Thanasis Katsoulis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Madrid's Menelaos Papaloukas. Menelaos Papaloukas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Autokratoras F.C.'s Nikos Kamelidis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Autokratoras F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kleon Lagizos hit a great ball. Fivos Giantzis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimitris Koutsoudakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Fivos Giantzis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute.

Autokratoras F.C.'s Dimitris Koutsoudakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Skinas in the 54th minute of play. If Fivos Giantzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Autokratoras F.C.'s Dimitris Koutsoudakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fivos Giantzis in the 62nd minute of play. Dimitris Koutsoudakis came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid's Fivos Giantzis. But to his dismay, Fivos Giantzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanasis Katsoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Menelaos Papaloukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Menelaos Papaloukas got control of the ball when Thanasis Katsoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loukianos Skinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Autokratoras F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
