In the 5th minute Theagenis Vezirgiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Pedoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, RIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theocharis Kabantais came free, but Avraam Pedoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Babbis Psalidas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIO FC's Avraam Pedoulakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Avraam Pedoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Kabantais in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Koutsopαpoulos FC's zone, Sokratis Tsagarakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Kavalaris came out of the goal and Sokratis Tsagarakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thodoris Piatas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avraam Pedoulakis. Avraam Pedoulakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Theocharis Kabantais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Pedoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, RIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Venetidis came free, but Avraam Pedoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koutsopαpoulos FC's Kostas Kavalaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Koutsopαpoulos FC from getting a goal against them. Babbis Psalidas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Pedoulakis having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Anastasios Mamais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Koutsopαpoulos FC's goalkeeper Kostas Kavalaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renos Papoutsas. Akis Koukoulekis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thodoris Piatas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Renos Papoutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argyris Tselementes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Koutsopαpoulos FC booed when RIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renos Papoutsas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Pedoulakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babbis Psalidas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akis Koukoulekis made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Babbis Psalidas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avraam Pedoulakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of RIO FC booed when Koutsopαpoulos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Koutsoures didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Pedoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Kabantais in the 62nd minute of play. Babbis Psalidas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Avraam Pedoulakis made a huge save. In the 65th minute of the match Koutsopαpoulos FC got a corner. RIO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vassilis Markos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Kostas Venetidis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Renos Papoutsas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the RIO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renos Papoutsas couldn't finish the play. Theocharis Kabantais scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avraam Pedoulakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theocharis Kabantais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sokratis Tsagarakis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Theocharis Kabantais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Pedoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Theocharis Kabantais got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Demis Tassakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Vassilis Markos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Kabantais in the 89th minute of play forced RIO FC's goalkeeper Avraam Pedoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avraam Pedoulakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Theocharis Kabantais showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Koutsopαpoulos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RIO FC.
