Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Sokratis Koukodimos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pavlos Bougatsas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ntinos Kalifoulis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavlos Bougatsas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Sokratis Koukodimos made a precise shot to the right of Pavlos Bougatsas. Bαpes BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaggelos Dermitzakis couldn't finish the play. Sokratis Koukodimos in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavlos Bougatsas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pavlos Bougatsas came out of the goal and Ntinos Kalifoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Bαpes BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Papoutsakis to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Koukodimos came free, but Pavlos Bougatsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Bαpes BC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bαpes BC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fotis Papafanopoulos hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Staffan Söderström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavlos Bougatsas skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Ntinos Kalifoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sokratis Koukodimos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panathinaikos's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Koukodimos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavlos Bougatsas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ntinos Kalifoulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavlos Bougatsas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ntinos Kalifoulis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76thth minute of the game Sokratis Koukodimos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pavlos Bougatsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokratis Koukodimos in the 79th minute of the match.
