The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alkaios Kazanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alkaios Kazanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentinos Sabanis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alkaios Kazanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. GREEN ROCHAS's Vassilis Velianitis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN ROCHAS from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Michalis Kopsas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GREEN ROCHAS's Vassilis Velianitis. Vassilis Velianitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alkaios Kazanidis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alkaios Kazanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Kleanthis Kassiantidis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vassilis Velianitis skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute, Iason Kladakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monodhendri FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
