Spectators: 8039 (Terracing: 6030, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christos Vasakis started the match with the kick off. Spyros Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Papaikonomou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charis Papaikonomou in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spyros Konstantakakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 7 minutes, Tasos Roubakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reds FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tasos Roubakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Vasakis in the 9th minute of play forced Reds FC's goalkeeper Spyros Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Reds FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Panos Bantis hit a great ball. Alexis Koutsomitras struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Spyros Konstantakakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ. Spyros Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Papaikonomou in the 19th minute of the match. Charis Papaikonomou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spyros Konstantakakis having to make a save. Spyros Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Papaikonomou in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's Alexis Koutsomitras got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Reds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Papaikonomou came free, but Spyros Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Giannis Patrinos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Reds FC's Spyros Konstantakakis. Spyros Konstantakakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilias Bitsikeas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Christos Vasakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Spyros Konstantakakis. The goal made the score 0-4. Spyros Konstantakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Vasakis in the 56th minute of play. When Ilias Bitsikeas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Reds FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilias Bitsikeas couldn't finish the play. Spyros Konstantakakis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Charis Papaikonomou sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Giannis Patrinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spyros Konstantakakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giannis Patrinos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. Charis Papaikonomou came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Spyros Konstantakakis could save by the left post. In the 77th minute Ilias Bitsikeas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Okkas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Vasakis in the 78th minute of play forced Reds FC's goalkeeper Spyros Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reds FC's Spyros Konstantakakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Reds FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Reds FC defense, Charis Papaikonomou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spyros Konstantakakis. The Reds FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spyros Konstantakakis should have stopped the shot. Spyros Konstantakakis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Charis Papaikonomou sent off a good shot on target. Spyros Konstantakakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christos Vasakis went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When Ilias Bitsikeas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Reds FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilias Bitsikeas couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Reds FC's goalkeeper Spyros Konstantakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Papaikonomou. ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
