Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Katselis in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peristasi FC's zone, Dimitris Moularas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Kortzidis came out of the goal and Dimitris Moularas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Kortzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Rellis in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis got control of the ball when Apostolos Kazantzopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apostolos Kazantzopoulos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Thomas Kortzidis 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Peristasi FC booed when Cyprus Eagles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Garpozis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavlos Fotiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kosmas Menegakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Apostolos Kazantzopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cyprus Eagles AFC's protests and gave Apostolos Kazantzopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Pavlos Katranidis hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Vrasidas Rellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Kortzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostolos Kazantzopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Thomas Kortzidis made a huge save. Thomas Kortzidis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimitris Moularas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play.

Kosmas Menegakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Pavlos Fotiadis made a huge save. In the 87th minute Dimitris Moularas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Kortzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Kortzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Rellis in the 88th minute of the match. Peristasi FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
