HEMP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artemio Mambru in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Artemio Mambru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grigoris Zacharas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Grzegorz Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Seabra in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, AEK KAVALAS FC's Grigoris Zacharas got control of the ball when Argyris Karantonis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Fotis Pegiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Tyskie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Tyskie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Pegiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Grigoris Zacharas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Odysseas Lazaroglou made the kick off in the second half. HEMP's attentive Artemio Mambru managed to snatch the ball when Makis Labiridis made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Adriano Seabra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Tyskie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HEMP's Grzegorz Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Pegiadis in the 56th minute of play. Grzegorz Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Karapostolou in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AEK KAVALAS FC's Emil Giurcă got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of AEK KAVALAS FC booed when HEMP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofanis Serifis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
