If Pavlos Zikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Bosoulas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aiolikos FC's Petros Kiakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pantelis Begnis in the 10th minute of play. Miltiadis Voutsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alexis Kasnakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ntinos Papanagiotou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alexis Kasnakidis made a huge save. Petros Kiakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaios Makrigiannis's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Petros Kiakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pantelis Begnis went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pantelis Begnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aiolikos FC's Petros Kiakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Zikas in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miltiadis Voutsas in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexis Kasnakidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Moloko's zone, Chatziioannou Karathanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Kasnakidis came out of the goal and Chatziioannou Karathanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Aiolikos FC got a freekick which was hit by Miltiadis Voutsas. After a defensive mix-up in Aiolikos FC's zone, Pantelis Begnis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Kiakis came out of the goal and Pantelis Begnis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Aiolikos FC's Alexis Kasnakidis threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ntinos Papanagiotou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chatziioannou Karathanos was the one to do the kick off. If Kostas Vokolos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Aiolikos FC's Giorgos Bosoulas got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Moloko's Vaios Makrigiannis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petros Kiakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Chatziioannou Karathanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Kasnakidis was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziioannou Karathanos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexis Kasnakidis saved Moloko from getting behind. Alexis Kasnakidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltiadis Voutsas in the 67th minute of the match. When Giorgos Bosoulas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Giorgos Bosoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Moloko got a freekick which was hit by Pantelis Begnis. The supporters of Moloko booed when Aiolikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Paterakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akakios Evaggelliadis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Vaios Makrigiannis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Moloko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaios Makrigiannis couldn't finish the play. Pavlos Zikas in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petros Kiakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
