Jaakkima Rinne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ikälä's Alfred Pyhältö got a free kick in the 4th minute. Niilo Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aadolf Villanen having to interfere. With a little luck, Ikälä's Aadolf Villanen got control of the ball when Niilo Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Verneri Lindfors ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuisma Puutio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Verneri Lindfors fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ikälä's protests and gave Verneri Lindfors a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Honkimaa F.C's Kustavi Koponen got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Paavo Sairanen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Honkimaa F.C's Kuisma Puutio didn't even have to move. 28 minutes into the match, Ikälä's goalkeeper Aadolf Villanen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Söderström. When Kai Reimari fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ikälä's protests and gave Kai Reimari a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Ikälä got a freekick which was hit by Kai Reimari. In the 33rdth minute of the game Niilo Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ikälä's Aadolf Villanen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herkko Hati scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kuisma Puutio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ikälä getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Turo Kukkamäki hit a great ball. Jaakkima Rinne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aadolf Villanen came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaakkima Rinne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niilo Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. When Honkimaa F.C's Niilo Eklund in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ikälä's goalie prevented a goal. Kai Reimari got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ikälä getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kai Reimari hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Herkko Hati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikälä's supporters rose to their feet, but Herkko Hati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuisma Puutio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Jorma Paavola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kuisma Puutio, 1-3. Jaakkima Rinne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aadolf Villanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niilo Eklund in the 66th minute of play forced Ikälä's goalkeeper Aadolf Villanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ikälä's goal looked a bit too open when Jaakkima Rinne came free, but Aadolf Villanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niko Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aadolf Villanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirkka Holttinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aadolf Villanen having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Niko Söderström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Aadolf Villanen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Honkimaa F.C's Niko Söderström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aadolf Villanen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Eklund in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aadolf Villanen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ikälä had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
