Paul Häppölä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aukusti Ruohiainen in the 11th minute of the match. Aritza Acuña scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Häppölä, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Turan Okgüç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Häppölä. Osmalax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüseyin Turan Okgüç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Slawomir Jaks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Osmalax's Paul Häppölä was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Osmalax's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Turan Okgüç came free, but Paul Häppölä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Vilhelm Tähtinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Osmalax's Yrjänä Perälä got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hüseyin Turan Okgüç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Häppölä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aritza Acuña in the 38th minute of play. Yrjänä Perälä hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Pelikarhut got a freekick which was hit by Aukusti Ruohiainen. Osmalax's Paul Häppölä proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Osmalax from getting a goal against them. Paul Häppölä came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelikarhut's Slawomir Jaks. But to his dismay, Slawomir Jaks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Jaks to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Osmalax's Mika Kanto got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Slawomir Jaks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Häppölä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aritza Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Häppölä having to interfere. Paul Häppölä took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Jaks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Pelikarhut's Aukusti Ruohiainen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Häppölä made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Slawomir Jaks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Tähtinen in the 80th minute of play forced Osmalax's goalkeeper Paul Häppölä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jari Kiprusoff made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mika Karjalainen sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 83 minutes, Vilhelm Tähtinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelikarhut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Tähtinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pelikarhut reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Osmalax's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Tähtinen came free, but Paul Häppölä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Jaks in the 90th minute of play forced Osmalax's goalkeeper Paul Häppölä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelikarhut's Slawomir Jaks collided with an opponent after 93 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Pelikarhut made a substitution. Alvi Lehterä replaced Aritza Acuña. Arttu Noponen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Pelikarhut's Evelio Barea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Osmalax. Pelikarhut's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
