Spectators: 7032 (Terracing: 5109, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pertti Lahtinen kicked off to start the match. Taito Seikola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pertti Lahtinen in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jalmari Allen got free with Iikka Räsänen in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Karhukorpi getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jalmari Allen hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Oxford United F.C.'s Verneri Jantunen tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Karhukorpi got a freekick which was hit by Arsi Siren. Taito Seikola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verneri Jantunen in the 18th minute of the match. Iikka Räsänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uuno Lääkkö in the 23rd minute of play. Aapo Määttänen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taito Seikola having to interfere. If Uuno Lääkkö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Pertti Lahtinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karhukorpi's Taito Seikola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pertti Lahtinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salomon Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Kustaa Nyyssönen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iikka Räsänen having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pekko Kangasmäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Iikka Räsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Pihlman during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Karhukorpi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aapo Hakanpää recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pertti Lahtinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taito Seikola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aapo Määttänen got free with Taito Seikola in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Pekko Kangasmäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iikka Räsänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Oxford United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pekko Kangasmäki came free, but Iikka Räsänen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taito Seikola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pertti Lahtinen went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Oxford United F.C.'s Iikka Räsänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uuno Lääkkö in the 90th minute of play. Uuno Lääkkö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aapo Määttänen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Taito Seikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Aapo Määttänen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oxford United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aapo Määttänen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Oxford United F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karhukorpi.
