In the 6th match minute, Karhukorpi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jalmari Allen to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Rainer Jokinen from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Taito Seikola's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pekko Kangasmäki during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karhukorpi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pekko Kangasmäki hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Antti Korkeakoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tikkurilan Palloseura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antti Korkeakoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Antti Korkeakoski came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tikkurilan Palloseura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antti Korkeakoski couldn't finish the play. Antti Korkeakoski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Taito Seikola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Karhukorpi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kustaa Nyyssönen to maneuver through the defense. Antti Korkeakoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antti Korkeakoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Uolevi Valjakka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pekko Kangasmäki to make the kick off. Uolevi Valjakka scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taito Seikola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Tikkurilan Palloseura's zone, Pekko Kangasmäki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Järventaus came out of the goal and Pekko Kangasmäki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Antti Korkeakoski came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tikkurilan Palloseura fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Karhukorpi's protests and gave Risto Lindfors a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Tikkurilan Palloseura. Rainer Jokinen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taito Seikola. 3-0. When Tikkurilan Palloseura's Uolevi Valjakka in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karhukorpi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, one of Karhukorpi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karhukorpi. Rainer Jokinen shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Uolevi Valjakka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taito Seikola having to interfere.
