In the 9th minute, Anton Louke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kikkihiiri's Aaron Konttila didn't even have to move. If Seppo Hagelberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Seppo Hagelberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Konttila was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Seppo Hagelberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Mauri Koivisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oskari Puurula fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nilosvaara's protests and gave Oskari Puurula a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Oskari Puurula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jalmari Grahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Einari Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Paavo Lepistö was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Nilosvaara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kikkihiiri's zone, Seppo Hagelberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Konttila came out of the goal and Seppo Hagelberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskari Puurula struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Aaron Konttila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilosvaara.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seppo Hagelberg was the one to do the kick off. Kalervo Junnila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalmari Grahn having to interfere. Aaron Konttila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Eloranta in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Nilosvaara's goal looked a bit too open when Einari Gustafsson came free, but Jalmari Grahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ari Eloranta in the 62nd minute of play forced Kikkihiiri's goalkeeper Aaron Konttila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oskari Puurula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jalmari Grahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einari Gustafsson in the 66th minute of the match. Einari Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Nilosvaara got a freekick which was hit by Oskari Puurula. Kikkihiiri's Rafael Pasoja couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nilosvaara. After 73 minutes of play, Nilosvaara's Seppo Hagelberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Konttila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalervo Junnila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jalmari Grahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einari Gustafsson in the 82nd minute of play forced Nilosvaara's goalkeeper Jalmari Grahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Ari Eloranta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jalmari Grahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einari Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Ari Eloranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilosvaara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
