Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joonas Nyrhinen kicked off to start the match. HK Scan's Arsi Rontti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonas Nyrhinen in the 7th minute of play. Jorma Oksa was a little too slow when Ossi Kangasmäki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th minute Ossi Kangasmäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorma Oksa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sampo Vapamaa charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sampo Vapamaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sampo Vapamaa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Ilmari Saravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ossi Kangasmäki came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the HK Scan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ossi Kangasmäki couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Ossi Kangasmäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorma Oksa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Ossi Kangasmäki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pallo-Kuomat's Jorma Oksa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes in the game, Ossi Kangasmäki fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorma Oksa having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Joonas Nyrhinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HK Scan's Arsi Rontti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pallo-Kuomat's Joonas Nyrhinen got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ossi Kangasmäki made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, HK Scan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyösti Urholin to maneuver through the defense. Jimi Kilponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsi Rontti having to interfere. After 59 played minutes HK Scan got a freekick which was hit by Jyri Vainionpää. Aatami Sauso charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aatami Sauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Aatami Sauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HK Scan's Ilmari Saravo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilmari Saravo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Sampo Vapamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorma Oksa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ossi Kangasmäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aatami Sauso hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Atso Normio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HK Scan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atso Normio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Jimi Kilponen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorma Oksa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilmari Saravo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
