Atte Kangasalusta might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaleva Furuholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaleva Furuholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atte Kangasalusta in the 13th minute of play. Mikael Hagman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaleva Furuholm having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Teemu Hartikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Mikael Hagman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of fc yliutos's Kaleva Furuholm. Kaleva Furuholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 20 minutes, Atte Kangasalusta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK46's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atte Kangasalusta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atte Kangasalusta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, fc yliutos's goal looked a bit too open when Atte Kangasalusta came free, but Kaleva Furuholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaleva Furuholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Hagman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Veli Kosonen fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc yliutos's protests and gave Veli Kosonen a yellow card for diving instead. Veli Kosonen kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kaleva Furuholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Hagman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to BK46 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ylermi Tähtinen hit a great ball. Teemu Koivula, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Uolevi Bruun hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pauli Markkula to strike the kick off in the second half. Pauli Markkula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Hagman charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Hagman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mikael Hagman hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pauli Markkula scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Topi Tammisto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janne Karalahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elmer Lindfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Topi Tammisto having to interfere. fc yliutos's Kaleva Furuholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save fc yliutos from getting a goal against them. Mikael Hagman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaleva Furuholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Atte Kangasalusta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kaleva Furuholm, passed just outside the right post. If Mikael Hagman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Hagman struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kaleva Furuholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK46. Atte Kangasalusta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kaleva Furuholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Atte Kangasalusta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaleva Furuholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Hagman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaleva Furuholm having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the BK46 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for fc yliutos.
