When FC.Bosna's Alfred Lumijärvi in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gunners's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tuure Heino managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC.Bosna's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuure Heino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ylermi Väänänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauri Suominen took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iikka Lotvonen. Iikka Lotvonen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tuure Heino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ylermi Väänänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC.Bosna getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jyri Mäki hit a great ball. Lauri Suominen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Toimi Kaitainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toimi Kaitainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alfred Lumijärvi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ylermi Väänänen was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Tuure Heino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC.Bosna's Jaakkima Heinikainen got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ylermi Väänänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Lumijärvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Alfred Lumijärvi made a precise shot to the right of Ylermi Väänänen. Gunners's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauri Suominen to make the kick off. Iikka Palsola made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gunners's Patrik Turunen. Jaakkima Heinikainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Alfred Lumijärvi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC.Bosna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Lumijärvi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jyri Mäki got free with Ylermi Väänänen in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes FC.Bosna got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Lumijärvi. When Alfred Lumijärvi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC.Bosna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Lumijärvi couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Gunners's goalkeeper Ylermi Väänänen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuure Heino. Alfred Lumijärvi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ylermi Väänänen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC.Bosna. Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Lumijärvi in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Patrik Turunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84thth minute of the game Alfred Lumijärvi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunners's Ylermi Väänänen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ylermi Väänänen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuure Heino in the 87th minute. Alfred Lumijärvis short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Ylermi Väänänen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC.Bosna players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
