Spectators: 8486 (Terracing: 6366, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 169) Hannu Ikonen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kustaa Vihkos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Wojciech Szczęsny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Påvadsby FC's zone, Hannu Ikonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Szczęsny came out of the goal and Hannu Ikonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Toni Vatanen. 12 minutes into the game, one of FC Barcelona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Påvadsby FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Terho Kesä, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Barcelona's Janne Hautaniemi. 0-1. Kustaa Vihko struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. Terho Kesä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Hautaniemi having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Påvadsby FC's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Terho Kesä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Iikka Metsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Hautaniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kustaa Vihko in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Kustaa Vihko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wojciech Szczęsny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Janne Hautaniemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Sillanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janne Hautaniemi came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Påvadsby FC's Terho Kesä. But to his dismay, Terho Kesä quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Aarni Perämäki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Aarni Perämäki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iikka Metsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terho Kesä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Janne Hautaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Iikka Metsberg came free, but Janne Hautaniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Fogel to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Påvadsby FC's Iikka Metsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janne Hautaniemi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Påvadsby FC's Iikka Metsberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Janne Hautaniemi. Janne Hautaniemi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Iikka Metsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janne Hautaniemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iikka Metsberg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Janne Hautaniemi got control of the ball when Terho Kesä tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iikka Metsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iikka Metsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Hautaniemi having to interfere. Terho Kesä struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Janne Hautaniemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Påvadsby FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iikka Metsberg in the 88th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Janne Hautaniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terho Kesä could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Janne Hautaniemi made a huge save. After 96 minutes of play, Påvadsby FC's Ossi Mikkonen made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janne Hautaniemi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Påvadsby FC played a much better game than FC Barcelona and deserved their victory. The FC Barcelona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
