Lauri Markkanen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the game, Niilo Jokela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lauri Markkanen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax's zone, Terho Kesä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauri Markkanen came out of the goal and Terho Kesä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauri Markkanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvo Sillanpää in the 11th minute of play. Påvadsby FC's Terho Kesä got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, Påvadsby FC's Niilo Jokela made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauri Markkanen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Terho Kesä left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Påvadsby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Kuisma Leppiniemi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauri Markkanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Kuisma Leppiniemi made a precise shot to the right of Lauri Markkanen. Ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 26 minutes of play, Påvadsby FC's Silvo Sillanpää made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauri Markkanen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sulevi Saastamoinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Szczęsny having to interfere. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Niko Lehto hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Påvadsby FC's Terho Kesä nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauri Markkanen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Lauri Markkanen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terho Kesä went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Kuisma Leppiniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lauri Markkanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niilo Jokela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niko Lehto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvo Sillanpää's late challenge caught a Ajax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvo Sillanpää helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Påvadsby FC's Silvo Sillanpää got a free kick in the 57th minute. With his leg Lauri Markkanen managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Påvadsby FC's Niilo Jokela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Påvadsby FC's Niilo Jokela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauri Markkanen. That made the score 0-10 after 61 minutes of play. In the 63rd match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aarno Jukkola to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Ajax's goalkeeper Lauri Markkanen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Saarelainen. Kuisma Leppiniemi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lauri Markkanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Påvadsby FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuisma Leppiniemi in the 71st minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Lauri Markkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niilo Jokela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Lauri Markkanen made a huge save. When Niilo Jokela came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Påvadsby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niilo Jokela couldn't finish the play. Ajax's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Terho Kesä scored to the left of an out of position Lauri Markkanen, making the score, 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Kuisma Leppiniemi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lauri Markkanen. That made the score 0-12 in the 79 minute of play. If Kuisma Leppiniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Niilo Jokela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lauri Markkanen. The goal made the score 0-13. Niko Lehto charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niko Lehto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niko Lehto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Lauri Markkanen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Niilo Jokela sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terho Kesä got free with Lauri Markkanen in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Niilo Jokela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauri Markkanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ajax fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Påvadsby FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
