Spectators: 6943 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 0) Kalsarit's Milosz Frenzel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elmo Lahtela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janne Tuuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Timo Luhtio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Väinö Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Milosz Frenzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Janne Tuuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Milosz Frenzel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Janne Tuuri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timo Luhtio might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janne Tuuri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Luhtio ran back to his position shaking his head. Janne Tuuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Ambrosio Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Tuuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kalsarit booed when Tavola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Topi Liimatainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvi Lotvonen lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Tavola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kalsarit a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Timo Luhtio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tavola's Janne Tuuri. 0-2. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tavola's goalkeeper Janne Tuuri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Milosz Frenzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalsarit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Tavola's Topi Liimatainen got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Eeli Sulonen made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timo Luhtio got free with Janne Tuuri in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tavola getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mika Heinikallio hit a great ball. Timo Luhtio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janne Tuuri made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Timo Luhtio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Kalsarit's Miro Rahikainen got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Asmo Koivisto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Manex skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute, Timo Luhtio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Mauri Bärlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalsarit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tavola the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Tavola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seppo Loikala to maneuver through the defense. Tavola's Janne Tuuri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Tavola from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes of play, Tavola's Eeli Sulonen made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Manex was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Kalsarit left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tavola.
