Spectators: 8459 (Terracing: 6345, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paavali Ronkainen got the match started through his kick off. Keimo Lönnblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Belfiore in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rainer Manninen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 minutes, Antonio Belfiore made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Halisten Haukat's Rainer Manninen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Miko Haapamäki came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the LiPaS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miko Haapamäki couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Miko Haapamäki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Manninen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, LiPaS's Keimo Lönnblad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rainer Manninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilari Saastamoinen during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Miko Haapamäki sped through Halisten Haukat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rainer Manninen. 29 minutes into the match, Antonio Belfiore notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Halisten Haukat's Rainer Manninen. Rainer Manninen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Belfiore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rainer Manninen having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miko Haapamäki in the 36th minute of play forced Halisten Haukat's goalkeeper Rainer Manninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainer Manninen came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by LiPaS's Keimo Lönnblad. But to his dismay, Keimo Lönnblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The audience was convinced that Antonio Belfiore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rainer Manninen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Samuel Huttunen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halisten Haukat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiPaS the free kick. The supporters of LiPaS booed when Halisten Haukat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Huttunen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halisten Haukat's Paavali Ronkainen got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Halisten Haukat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LiPaS were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Belfiore to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonni Karalahti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Siltanen in the 57th minute of the match. Halisten Haukat's Paavali Ronkainen got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Siltanen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonni Karalahti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Miko Haapamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Antonio Belfiore lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Rainer Manninen. After 79 minutes, Timo Berg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halisten Haukat and the LiPaS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rainer Manninen stood somewhat misplaced when Antonio Belfiore came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 85 minute. Rainer Manninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miko Haapamäki in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes Halisten Haukat got a freekick which was hit by Mauri Kuusiniemi. Urmas Tuomainen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. LiPaS played a much better game than Halisten Haukat and deserved their victory. The Halisten Haukat players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
