The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Pelttarinharju FC's Ossian Antila got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilkka Kujanpää was the one to do the kick off. Pasi Sainomaa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juha-Pekka Ahmaoja went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Sulva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsti Valkealahti to maneuver through the defense. Sulva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil İbrahim Mengücek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petri Heinikallio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jaakob Normio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Juha-Pekka Ahmaoja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pasi Sainomaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
