Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sakari Murto started the match with the kick off. Karankamäki FC's Celalettin Erduran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antti Parkkali in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veikka Helkamo in the 6th minute of play forced Helsinki Raptors's goalkeeper Ale Eloranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ale Eloranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veikka Helkamo in the 8th minute of play. Ale Eloranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaakkima Manninen in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Helsinki Raptors's Aki Trehkopf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celalettin Erduran. Celalettin Erduran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Karankamäki FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sakari Murto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Celalettin Erduran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antti Parkkali, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Sakari Murto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celalettin Erduran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 23 played minutes Helsinki Raptors got a freekick which was hit by Antti Parkkali. In the 31st minute, Reijo Harjanne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aki Trehkopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Celalettin Erduran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Backlund kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Celalettin Erduran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erno Hiltunen in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Karankamäki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jyrki Allen to maneuver through the defense. Celalettin Erduran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aki Trehkopf in the 42nd minute of play. Aki Trehkopf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 47 minutes on the clock, Ernst Backlund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Sakari Murto came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Helsinki Raptors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakari Murto couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Christobal was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Veikka Helkamo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ale Eloranta. Veikka Helkamo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jyrki Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Aki Trehkopf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helsinki Raptors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Aki Trehkopf struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Celalettin Erduran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helsinki Raptors. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jyrki Allen in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ale Eloranta saved Helsinki Raptors from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Allen in the 75th minute of play forced Helsinki Raptors's goalkeeper Ale Eloranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaakkima Manninen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Helsinki Raptors made a substitution. Lasse Hahl replaced Tino Piekkanen. In the 77th match minute, Karankamäki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaakkima Manninen to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Helsinki Raptors's Antti Parkkali tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Antti Parkkali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celalettin Erduran having to interfere. Ale Eloranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veikka Helkamo in the 81st minute of the match. When Veikka Helkamo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Karankamäki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veikka Helkamo couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes, Jyrki Allen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karankamäki FC and the Helsinki Raptors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jyrki Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Celalettin Erduran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ossi Timonen in the 90th minute of play. Helsinki Raptors's Ale Eloranta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Helsinki Raptors from getting a goal against them. Helsinki Raptors's Antti Parkkali got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karankamäki FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Helsinki Raptors.
