After 5 played minutes Rakheste got a freekick which was hit by Hans Krooli. Oliver Külaase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jairo Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Külaase in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Atauri saved FC Inter from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Inter's Ülo Kõiv slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joe Eelmäe. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 19 minutes into the match, Riivo Laar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rakheste's Joe Eelmäe. Joe Eelmäe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Riivo Laar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joe Eelmäe firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of FC Inter booed when Rakheste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raivo Luks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rakheste's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pavel Jõekallas 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Jõekallas in the 31st minute of play forced Rakheste's goalkeeper Joe Eelmäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Eelmäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Jõekallas in the 33rd minute of the match. Rakheste's Joe Eelmäe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Rakheste from getting a goal against them. Joe Eelmäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anti Müürsepp in the 37th minute. Rakheste's Hans Krooli got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, FC Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Külaase came free, but Jairo Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rakheste's Joe Eelmäe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rakheste from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Pavel Jõekallas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joe Eelmäe. The goal made the score 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Joe Eelmäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute Ülo Kõiv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Eelmäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Rakheste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Krooli to maneuver through the defense. FC Inter's Ülo Kõiv pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Andrus Annuk fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rakheste's protests and gave Andrus Annuk a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Rakheste got a freekick which was hit by Andrus Annuk. 80 minutes into the game, Pavel Jõekallas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Joe Eelmäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Külaase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Atauri having to interfere. Joe Eelmäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Jõekallas in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rakheste defense, Riivo Laar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joe Eelmäe. The Rakheste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joe Eelmäe should have stopped the shot. FC Inter's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
