Ermo Kruus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ilmar Reismaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Stoke City fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Stoke City's Ken Maasar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olaf Veetamm charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Veetamm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Vandra getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ilmar Reismaa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermo Kruus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ken Maasar in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilmar Reismaa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vandra's zone, Ermo Kruus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilmar Reismaa came out of the goal and Ermo Kruus tried to chip the ball over his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Maasar in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilmar Reismaa saved FC Vandra from getting behind. A collision led to Stoke City getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tõnu Üksti hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Boyde Eicke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilmar Reismaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ken Maasar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilmar Reismaa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Ken Maasar in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ermo Kruus made the kick off in the second half. If Ermo Kruus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ken Maasar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ilmar Reismaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stoke City booed when FC Vandra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergo Kaldmaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Ken Maasar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilmar Reismaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Ermo Kruus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stoke City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With a little luck, FC Vandra's Ilmar Reismaa got control of the ball when Ermo Kruus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermo Kruus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ilmar Reismaa made a huge save. Ken Maasar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Vandra's goalkeeper Ilmar Reismaa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ken Maasar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
