A wasted opportunity for JK Tuula Dünamo. 10 minutes into the match, Pärnu Linnameeskond's Hubert Vilu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarmo Vilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Hubert Vilu made a precise shot to the right of Jarmo Vilberg. JK Tuula Dünamo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 14 minutes, Anton Ansip made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. JK Tuula Dünamo's Jarmo Vilberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes, Pärnu Linnameeskond's Ken Ahju shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarmo Vilberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Arne Urbalus short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Rando Tara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rando Tara stood somewhat misplaced when Arne Urbalu came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 32 minute. After a defensive mix-up in JK Tuula Dünamo's zone, Anton Ansip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarmo Vilberg came out of the goal and Anton Ansip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Hubert Vilu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Anton Ansip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarmo Vilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Pärnu Linnameeskond were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubert Vilu was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Pärnu Linnameeskond's goal looked a bit too open when Märt Jürgenson came free, but Rando Tara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Jan Virve sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pärnu Linnameeskond's Rando Tara didn't even have to move. In the 67th minute Märt Jürgenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rando Tara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, JK Tuula Dünamo's Jarmo Vilberg got control of the ball when Anton Ansip tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Timo Kalev fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Tuula Dünamo's protests and gave Timo Kalev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to JK Tuula Dünamo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Timo Kalev hit a great ball. Anton Ansip could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jarmo Vilberg made a huge save. When Arne Urbalu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the JK Tuula Dünamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Urbalu couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, JK Tuula Dünamo's Jarmo Vilberg got control of the ball when Anton Ansip tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pärnu Linnameeskond's Hubert Vilu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hubert Vilu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarmo Vilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Pärnu Linnameeskond players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented JK Tuula Dünamo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
